Forex Trading in Malaysia Update

Hey guys,

How are you doing? I’m writing this blog post on a Sunday morning. The day is lovely. Not much to do, no stress. Ahh, the good life. I’m just hoping  that this will last forever, or will it? As a student of History, I am not naive to think that all good things will last forever. Look what happened to the Roman Empire or for that matter the Great Persian Empire? All of them have gone down in history and as of today, they don’t exist anymore.

My question, will ours last? As a Malaysian, I am concerned for my country. I love this country but things have been rather rough. This is not due to one single event but rather series of events and in-actions that has spanned for decades. The illegal immigrant issue in Sabah for example has been a major thorn on our side for some time. Legitimate sons and daughters of the land are left to become unemployed as the result of key industries been taken over by these illegals who apparently has been given “legitimate” ID’s.

GOD help this nation!

I have been aware of this fact for a long time but fighting the powers that be and the unseen hands that maneuver behind is futile. That’s the reason why I decided not to fight the system but find ways around it instead.

Making money and earning a living is hard. When you are slogging away and working hard while others have it easy, when hard working citizens are not rewarded for their labor while at the same time, shrewd free loaders seem to get all the spoils of the land.

The Alternative to All This Predicament? The INTERNET!

The Internet has been a life saver for a lot of people, mine included. The very fact I’m able to write this blog post and reach a sizable audience shows its power to convince and influence.

The Internet has also proved to be a reliable medium to deliver service. For example, this is what we are experiencing now in Forex. Forex trading used to be confined to the Big Boys, the banks and large financial houses with millions in capital. Now, even small traders can make big bucks.

He is also quite pleasant and approachable. He still has a day job with trading and website administration as a extra activities but I have no doubt he is earning a lot from trading, even more than what he earns in his day job.

Fxprimus Review

I’ve been checking out Fxprimus recently and you know what? I think their are awesome!

If you are one of those who has been a regular visitor to this website, I think you know by now that my reviews are biased :) I’m biased towards forex brokers that provide exceptional customer service and Fxprimus is one of them.

Let me tell you a story about how I’ve gotten to know them. To those who are new to Forex in Malaysia, the Forex community in Malaysia is actually quite active. One of the best place to find active discussions on Forex Trading is Carigold. I like to just surf around and check out what’s the hottest thing in the Forex market and I accidentally stumbled upon a great review on Fxprimus.

Fxprimus is a new Forex Broker. They were setup in 2009 to address the concern and the need of Forex Traders who were not satisfied with their current brokers.

Why Forex Traders are Not Satisfied?

Well, mostly because they were losing money and there is a sense that the current forex brokers that they are trading with are not being very honest with them.

Forex brokers are supposed to be for you, not against you. However, there is a loophole in the market where forex brokers can make money when the market is with you or against you. That means regardless if you make money or lose money, they still win.

To be honest, that’s pretty scary. A common strategy that forex brokers use is by getting a large amount of clients and once clients start to trade, they just pool their resources and trade against the clients in the currency market to ensure that the clients lose and they still make their money.

That’s perfectly legal but pretty scary if you are a client with them. You have no chance of winning if you go against your forex broker in the currency market.

Fxprimus is a Straight Through Processing (STP) Forex Broker. STP Forex brokers send orders directly from clients to the liquidity providers – banks or other brokers.

This also means that Fxprimus makes money only when you as a client makes money. So, it makes perfect sense for them to help you maximize your gains in the forex market because only then, they would be able to profit.

How to Apply Winning Mindset in Forex Trading

Forex trading is a zero sum game where there are winners and losers. When taken to extreme, Forex can be considered gambling. Therefore, it is imperative that Forex trading is treated with caution.

To win in Forex, you need to apply a winning mindset. This is the initial preparation before entering a trade. During a particular trade, you can win and lose but a mind that is prepared can withstand any short term fluctuation of wins and losses and instead focus on the long term agenda, that is to generate profit and to go out of the market once profit has been made no matter how little.

A successful forex trader should have the following mindset when approaching a trade:

1. A mind that is focused.
Focus takes practice. In this modern era where multitasking is held with high importance, the ability to focus and complete a goal one at the time has taken a backseat. However, to win consistently, you need to focus on your goals and on the strategies needed to reach those goals. The ability to follow through with your plans with sheer focus will ensure your success in Forex trading.

2. Patience: Bidding your time before making the ultimate kill.
Greed is the number one reason why most fail at forex trading. This is particularly true for new forex traders. They treat forex trading as a get rich quick scheme which is not true. Easy Forex is one of the best brokers around in my opinion. The main reason for this is the service, the quality of their daily reports delivered to your personal e-mail is fantastic. They will call you and discuss things with you, you can call them and ask for advice on upcoming announcements. Your stops and limits are guarenteed.

A big downside, and my reason for 4 stars is their platform. It is not as easy to use as my other broker MG Forex, and there is no way to set a trade wich is close to current market price. Your limit orders need to be aproximately 20 – 25 pips from current market price, and when big news comes out their freeze rate of three seconds is disabled. However they are extremely honest and upfront about this when you sign up for your account.

I don’t know about spreads on mini accounts, but I get 3 pips on EURUSD and 4 pips on GBPUSD and no commission. Another big plus is that your account can be funded from a credit card, so you don’t need to keep any capital in your account.

The amount to cover your position is debited from your credit card when you enter your stop loss position. And your profits can be paid to a normal bank account or back to the credit card you debited the amount from. Great for frequent flyer points, and your bank will love you.

Well, in my opinion, you will not find any better service elsewhere than Easy Forex. It is true they offer wide spread for mini traders, but guys, how many platforms can give you access to the market with only $25USD? Trading on a demo account is absolutely wasting your time!

I have friend made millions on a FXCM demo account, but he did not make any win trade with his real account! They psychological influence is one of the biggest factors in Forex trading! Have an account with this company and am very pleased as they have started to really turn things around with the service problems in the past. Wish they offered Visa or MasterCard debit card on account and deposits to the account using credit cards and PayPal. The 1 to 1000 leverage is the best in the industry, and 13.0% interest on account balance is the best in the industry. Commissions are a a bit high, but with the interest this is not negative thing, as few brokers even come close to paying this much. And if you do not trade at all you get 6.0% interest. This is a fun company with contests constantly going on. Great for MT4 traders. The company says they are best Forex broker in Asia. I agree with them whole heartedly.
